Dear Brothers and Sisters:
I hope this letter finds you surrounded by the strength and support of G-d’s love and light. I am writing to express my heartfelt sympathies in the aftermath of the recent tragedies in Israel – and attacks against the Jewish people.
As your state Senator for Pennsylvania’s 40th district, it is my hope our community comes together to stand in solidarity. The pain these recent events have brought upon your congregation, and the entire Jewish community cannot be overstated. Your community’s unwavering strength continues to be a beacon of hope for all of humanity. However, we must continue to pray together that the historic perpetration of evil comes to a halt.
On October 17th, the Pennsylvania state Senate passed two resolutions condemning the terrorist attack on Israel and formally supporting Israel and its people. My office is pleased to provide you with copies of these resolutions should you wish to have them.
