Rosenwald, a documentary

This virtual event is sponsored by Congregation B’nai Harim of the Poconos, on Sunday 2/18th, from 10:00 a.m. – noon. Together with the National Center for Jewish Films, a 95-minute documentary about Julius Rosenwald will be zoomed into your living room. A discussion will follow.

Julius Rosenwald joined Booker T. Washington to build almost 5,000 schools in the Jim Crow South for African American children who had no place to learn.
