This year’s honoree is Jim Alperin.
Born and raised in Scranton, PA, Jim Alperin is a graduate of Central High School and Lehigh University with a degree in Business Administration. He led his family’s apparel contracting business to global success, specializing in menswear, children’s wear, and school uniforms until its sale in 2021. Deeply involved in his community, Jim has held leadership roles in numerous Jewish, civic, and educational organizations, including serving as President of Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehab and as a Board Member of the United Way of Lackawanna County. He is married to Patty Flatz Alperin, and they have four children: Rebecca, Andrew, Kristin, and Lucas.
