Healing and Heartbreak: From Israel to Manchester

Just weeks after he watched helicopters overhead carrying returning hostages, journalist Nathan Jeffay will talk about the emotional rollercoaster that Israel has been living — from joyful homecomings to tearful funerals, and everything in between. He’ll also weave in a wider story of how we’re all part of the same journey.

Nathan hails originally from Manchester, UK, and will discuss the Yom Kippur attack there — just minutes from the school he attended.

Nathan is a journalist who has held senior positions with prominent Jewish media and has worked with several other print and online outlets on Israel coverage. During the thick of the Iran war, he interviewed President Isaac Herzog on behalf of Jewish communities worldwide.
