The Jewish Rescue in the Philippines

Please join us for a fascinating program, The Jewish Rescue in the Philippines. In 1936, when reports of the Jewish persecution reached President Manuel Quezon of the Philippines, he vowed to take them in.

Our guest speaker will be Dr. David Abramowitz and his family who will bring us personal knowledge about Jewish refugees’ lives in the Philippines today, and a historical lesson from the WWII era.

There will also be delicious Filipino snacks to share!
