DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a fascinating program\, The Jewish Rescue in the Philippines. In 1936\, when reports of the Jewish persecution reached President Manuel Quezon of the Philippines\, he vowed to take them in. \nOur guest speaker will be Dr. David Abramowitz and his family who will bring us personal knowledge about Jewish refugees’ lives in the Philippines today\, and a historical lesson from the WWII era. \nThere will also be delicious Filipino snacks to share! \nThis will be an in-person program with food at Congregation B’nai Harim\, on December 7\, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
