Please join us at Temple Israel for a light brunch followed by “Leonard Cohen, Judaism in Song” presented by Rabbi Ron Isaacs. Leonard Cohen was the quintessential Jewish composer of our time. He was not only an entertainer, songwriter, and poet, but also a man with his own unique Torah. Through film, guitar, and voice, Rabbi Ron Isaacs will present several of Cohen’s songs with religious themes and illustrate their connection to both liturgical and biblical texts.
